Non-emergency medical transportation

Medical rides,
handled from door to door.

Qureway runs wheelchair, ambulatory, dialysis and hospital-discharge rides across 34 Colorado counties from Denver. A trained driver comes to the door and sees each ride through — from pickup to the trip home.

Your neighbors on the road

We’re not a fleet. We’re the people who show up.

“The journey hasn’t always been smooth — your feedback built what we are now.”

Qureway started in 2016 with a simple idea: take care of people. Not accounts, not trip numbers — people, most of them our own neighbors in and around Denver.

We’ve grown to 34 Colorado counties since, and the thing we’re proudest of isn’t the map. It’s that riders ask for their driver by name.

What we drive

Every driver is trained for every one of these.

How a ride works

You make one call. We hold the rest.

Step 01

Call, or ask online

Tell us where, when, and what you need. A person answers — and asks about stairs, about the chair, about who's waiting on the other end.

Step 02

We plan the whole trip

Pickup, the walk to the door, the wait during treatment, the ride home — and the billing, settled before the day arrives.

Step 03

Your driver arrives

Often one you've met before. Early rather than late, and through the door with you — not left at the curb.

Who rides with us

Three very different people need the same thing.

Riders & families

You want to know your mother will be handled gently, and that someone will walk her in. That's the whole job.

Case managers

You want a provider who picks up, confirms, and doesn't leave your client waiting. Standing orders welcome.

Facilities & clinics

Discharges, dialysis chairs, recurring schedules. One number, one invoice, drivers your staff recognise.

Where we drive

Denver is home. Thirty-four counties are the route.

34of Colorado’s 64 counties

Qureway’s map starts in Denver and works outward — Front Range first, then the plains and the passes. If there’s care to get to, we’ve likely driven it.

The questions people ask first.

If yours is not here, ask it on the phone — we would rather answer it than have you guess.

Does Qureway take Medicaid?

Yes — Qureway accepts Colorado Medicaid for non-emergency medical transportation and bills Medicaid directly. If your ride is covered there is nothing for you to pay and nothing to claim back. We also take private pay and bill facilities on account.

What does a ride cost if Medicaid does not cover me?

Qureway quotes every private-pay ride on the phone, before anything is booked, so you will never be told a price after the fact. The figure depends on the service and the distance.

Is Qureway an ambulance service?

No — Qureway is non-emergency medical transportation, not an ambulance. We cannot carry stretcher patients or provide medical care on the way. If someone needs care during the journey, call 911 instead.

Can a caregiver or family member ride along?

Yes — a companion or caregiver rides free on every Qureway service. Most people want one on a long appointment day, and it is easier for everyone if you tell us when you book.

Will the driver help me to the door?

Yes — Qureway drivers work door through door. The driver helps you from your door to the van and from the van through the door at the other end, with your walker, cane or chair travelling with you.

What kinds of rides does Qureway offer?

Qureway offers five kinds of non-emergency medical ride: wheelchair transport, ambulatory rides for people who can walk but should not do it alone, dialysis runs, hospital discharge pickups and long-distance medical trips. Every driver is trained for all five.

Which Colorado counties does Qureway serve?

Qureway serves 34 Colorado counties from its base in Denver: Adams, Alamosa, Arapahoe, Bent, Boulder, Broomfield, Chaffee, Cheyenne, Clear Creek, Custer, Delta, Denver, Douglas, Eagle, El Paso, Elbert, Fremont, Gilpin, Gunnison, Huerfano, Jackson, Jefferson, Lake, Larimer, Lincoln, Morgan, Park, Pitkin, Pueblo, Saguache, Summit, Teller, Washington and Weld. Long-distance medical trips run across all of them. If you are not sure whether your address is in range, call and ask.

What are Qureway's hours?

Qureway's dispatch line is open seven days a week: Monday to Friday from 8am to 8pm, and Saturday and Sunday from 10am to 8pm, Denver time. The number is (720) 966-0026.

How do I book a ride with Qureway?

Call Qureway dispatch on (720) 966-0026, or request a ride online at qureway.com/request and a person calls you back to confirm. Have the pickup address, the destination, the appointment time and whether you use a wheelchair or walker to hand.

How far ahead do I need to book a medical ride in Denver?

Book with Qureway as soon as you know the appointment. Same-day is often possible when there is a van free, and standing orders for dialysis or a course of treatment are set up once by phone and then held.

Can I book a ride for someone else?

Yes — family members, case managers and facility staff book Qureway rides for someone else all the time, and the rider does not need to be on the phone. Tell us what they need and who to call when the van is outside.

What happens if my appointment runs long?

Call Qureway and we will come back for you — an appointment that runs long is not treated as a missed booking. We would rather come back than have you find your own way home.
